Had the best time seeing the 2024 total eclipse here! Not only is the campsite spacious and beautiful, but the hosts treated us to real southern hospitality, checking in on us regularly & giving us silverware and firewood when we ran out of both. It's a quick drive from the airport, yet feels like you're totally secluded in nature. We felt like we were in the Ozarks! It gave me a lovely first impression of Arkansas, I would definitely stay here again given the chance!
Indian Lakes Resort provided an incredible experience for our eclipse viewing. I would love to go back at any time if the year. Everything was so beautiful. The staff was kind and helpful. All of the camp sites were very well kept. Each site has their very own dock which surprised me. The water was fairly clear and fishing was great. Swimming was fun even though the water was quite cold in early April. There are lots of water toys at the swimming area for all ages. Bathrooms were a little small but clean and stocked. This place is a hidden gem. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful camping experience.
Easy choice for the kids, pets, and I. First time coming but deff not the last. Kids loves the beach area and the water equipment kept them out there so long I had to beg them to come back for a snack. My dog loved it also as everyone was so very friendly, respectful and it was truly is a 10/10 on the making everyone in the family happy.
Dont be like us! Just pack up and camp for the weekend!!! We just decided to drive an hour to have a day of fun and left, wishing we had just camped the weekend!!! Can't wait to go back. I did see that: They have a cabin rental, canoe rental, and a little store on sight. 2 separate fishing ponds both with a dock.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE. I grew up here and now my daughter gets too. She has the best time every time. There's plenty of fun slides and even when it's busy there's always room which is nice. Never feels to crowded. Cost 13$ for her and I (she's 3) so super good price for ALL day fun. 15/10
We love it here! It’s a safe clean space to enjoy swimming, camping, fishing, kayaking/paddle boarding, and so much more! I also don’t know of any other place that you can go on a weekend getaway and still make it to chapel on Sunday! That’s right! They have chapel on the lake on Sundays, just a short walk from your tent/camper! It’s pretty awesome and I highly recommend you try it out!! And don’t forget to try the big slides!! It’s a blast!! You won’t regret it!
It is a beautiful like with great people running it!!! I would recommend anyone to go here with family, friends, or alone and enjoy mother nature!!!
Not only does this place have camp grounds that you can pop a tent or camper up at, but they also have a rock lodge that can be rented. My family of 9 stayed there at the cabin and it was magnificent! The staffthat clean the grounds is from a faith based rehabilitation program called House of Faith. The women do an amazing job keeping the area clean. They also have a few that stay at the slide area to keep an eye on everyone. This place is Christ and Family oriented as well. The atmosphere couldn't be better here. There is also chapel on the lake, weather permitting, which is MAGNIFICENT! 10/10 RECOMMEND
