I would give it a 4 star. But to out-way all the negativity i give a five. This is a true camp ground! Yes its is old but it is rustic and authentic. Dirt and stone roads, lots of trees. Old school playground with a sand pit. We stayed in site 108D. We have a 18’x12’ tent and the site was spacious enough for us. (Family of 4+ a 75lb dog). The lake swimming area was small, but it was clean. The only issue we have is the bath houses. As though from previous reviews, it looks like they have replaced all the toilets recently. But overall the bath houses need to be updated in our five days. Stay there. I personally saw them clean both houses three times. Seems like every morning around 8-9. So they are clean. They’re just very old and falling apart. There is free laundry on the backside of both bathhouses. The camp store is much to be desired not much items to choose from but if you’re camping, you should have everything you need anyway. I have been camping my entire life, new campgrounds, old campgrounds, state parks. This is one of the few true campgrounds around.

Tent sites are decent.... But if you have a 22' or above camper forget about it, take my advise just don't. Campground is quiet, is primitive as can be. Sites are completely uneven and small, I couldn't use my sewer site as I couldn't unhitch the truck if I did, barley enough electricity to do anything. $65 a night complete rip off!! Resort prices for a far from resort feel. Paid for a 30amp but when it's in the red with only 100 volts -102 volts coming in it's worst then a house plug. Kid at the counter (his 1st day) was nice but wanted to charge extra fee as we were 1 hour early, we fought that and got that money back. If you read the rules basically everything you do could get you kicked out with out a refund, thinking this might happen often.... Could be a nice place as its a mile from the beach, but it's not, a lot of maintenance and some money could make it a nice place...... But instead they're spending money and time building 50 amp spots in a sand pit, more important I guess.... Please see my pics!! P.S.1-2 pics on their website are actually real, rest are from the Internet !! Spots are open for a reason!! 😂 Stay away!!

I was nervous to book a campsite based on the reviews, but glad I did! We had a great stay in site #40! I think the negative reviews have to do with the bathrooms. I’m use to camp restrooms, so I wasn’t bothered. Could they be updated, sure, but it’s camping people! I was happy to see that the owners are investing in the property so I think you’ll see more improvements over the years. We’ll be back again!

This place is terrible. The nicest thing about this place is the sign at the entrance, goes way down hill after that. They rented us a camp site in a legit construction zone. I rushed off a job site to enjoy the weekend with my family, just to end up at another jobsite. On top of that I get to enjoy the sound the the diesel generator running 24/7 directly behind me. The website in no way represents what this place actually is. Anything in the photo you will not find here, all the "activities" they have listed are off site. This is by far the worst campground I have ever been too. You can also enjoy volleyball or basketball in the same parking lot as the dump station. Do tour self a favor and go somewhere else, or stay home. Anywhere is better than this place.

RV sites poorly maintained. Site had large ricks and ruts. Bathrooms were outdated with mold and out-of-order toilets. One positive it was quiet at night.
