Beautiful area. Water level is way down so not exactly waterfront but pretty short and easy walk down. Like all County parks we have been to in Colorado, a little pricey considering they are standard electric, shared water and no sewer hookup with addional daily fees for vehicle and kayak trailer. Currently the campsites and campground roads are a little rough due to summer of rain.
Stayed several nights while visiting family in FOCO. Campground was well kept, and quiet during the week. Unfortunately a lot of families with rowdy kids arrived Friday night and the weekend was much less peaceful. The token machine for the showers at Inlet bay were not working when we were there, ended up getting tokens at the other campground that worked fine.
We camp here every year. Love it. Especially this year with the water levels so high. We park the boat right at the campsite and use it at ease whenever we want! Hosts are always great, and the reservoir is huge. Lots of ducks, deer and other enjoyable wildlife.
Awesome little place. Shockingly quiet for the main road being RIGHT next to our spot. Having to pay for your dump stations here is a huge bummer... they just started doing that & I kinda hate the greed... but if you want to camp here, that's the way it is. The water was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky the kids loved being right next to the beach (I21 was our spot number). I highly recommend taking a couple days off work & coming out here during the week; it's VERY peaceful!
Campsites are pretty close to each other. There is only electric spots, no full hookups. Both Inlet Bay campsites are close to Shoreline Drive (not super busy during the week, but could be on the weekends). A lot of the sites are close to water access in and around the marina, which is cool.
