Inn on Destin Harbor, Ascend Hotel Collection

I had an incredible stay at the Inn on Destin Harbor! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of the harbor. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Destin. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway in Destin!

We stayed for 1 night as we were passing through and boy am I glad we chose this hotel. Fantastic service as we checked in we were greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful clean harbour view room. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot and there is a small private sand area with a swing for couples looking over the harbour. The location was good with bars and eateries near by. Continental breakfast was good too - bagels , cereal , waffles , breakfast sandwiches along with juice tea and coffee .

Spent 2 nights for the weekend to see the Christmas boat parade and had a good view from our balcony. They had good draft beer at the bar, which happens to be right next to the check in desk! The room was clean and had everything we needed, though it was slightly cramped but i think that's mostly because it seems pretty old and hotel design has come a long way since this one was built. Definitely very clean for an older hotel. We always have to travel with our 2 mini dachshunds, and this place is pet friendly so that was a huge plus. Now the negative...beware if you need to bring your dog and they're even the slightest bit picky about where they pee, the designated area is only about a 8x8 square at the far end of the parking lot right beside Hwy 98 with cars and loud motorcycles and everything else zipping by nonstop, so it was useless to us as one of ours has to have minimal distractions to go...the perfect little grassy lawn you can see on aerial view right beside the parking lot belongs to the business next door and has "no dogs" signs on every tree along the parking lot, so that tricked me big time as i was scoping it out ahead of time thinking they'd have a good grass area to use, nope...had to go off site and find somewhere, which was pretty inconvenient. Great location though, close to everything on the harbor, without dogs it would have been great.

We had an exceptional stay at The Inn on Destin Harbor. The establishment maintained impeccable cleanliness and organization. The staff demonstrated remarkable hospitality, particularly Michelle at the front desk. The location proved ideal, situated in close proximity to numerous shopping venues, attractions, and restaurants. We will undoubtedly return.

We lovemaking memories and now The Inn on Destin Harbor has become our newest favorite memory place. Thank everyone for making this stay a perfect time. We will be back soon for more great times. We live 5 hours away but knowing what awaits us will exciting.
