Just arrived and I can tell you this place is great. The managers are the best nicest people you will ever meet. I wish all campground owners were this nice and helpful. Very laid-back atmosphere. Very pleasant place!
The Point, looking out across Duglas lake at the mountain ridges is absolutely breathtaking. My son and I Met the owner of the campground, Nelson, and some mutual friends there for a Men's meeting to lift each other up in the name of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST we had a Great Time, plenty of BBQ tenderloin, ribs, baked beans, slaw and potato salad, then gathered round on the Point for some great fellowship with each other, what a great time, I would highly recommend spending some time here. Nelson (the owner) is a good man, kind, caring, funny and a spiritual man,
We were able to get a last minute site for Thanksgiving. We were extremely grateful for that. No comfort stations. This was your basic campground. We did have sewer hook up though. Lake Douglas was drained down low but still a pretty view
Great place to Fish and Swim, $5 dollars boat launch fee. Follow the rules because the owner is a but rude. Manager is a very nice man
This campground wouldn’t allow us to rent because we “had too many kids” and then complained whenever I asked for an explanation as to why my kids were a problem and said it was too much hassle for them on the septic system. “Great for kids” WHAT A JOKE.
