We had campsite #1 it was spacious and flat, not too many rocks on the ground (for tenting and sleeping on the floor), it was also away from the other campsites so there was no one besides us or behind us or infront of us. It does lay at the mouth of a large mountainous ravine and on the edge of the river. Definitely recommend bear spray, a firearm, a knife. Be on guard. Lots of animals crossing the river at night and walking outside the tent. First night there we heard something killing a bird outside our tent, found the bird carcass in the morning in our campsite. Second night we say eyes on the mountain side. It's beautiful! Just be smart. There was a firepit and a picnic table. Bathroom outhouse style on site. No civilized water system, just the river.
Skinned out past this pretty little campground. Sat out in the sun on the porch of the ranger station to eat lunch. Lovely and quiet:)
It was absolutely beautiful. Outhouse available with TP but bring your own sanitizer.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful lil rocky but its worth everything just to be in the beautiful nature
Great little campground along a small stream. Sites are well spaced for privacy (or at least I can say Site #1 is). Pit toilet was decently clean and maintained. The road to the site, which continues on toward a handful of additional campgrounds, made for a bit of noise, but far from heavily traveled.
