Great spot to stay. We happened across it by chance. Both our dogs were welcomed so that was a big thing for us.Washrooms and showers on site both very clean I was surprised and happy to see it taken care of. Laundry was easy to access. Ended up booking an additional night on the tent site. We will be back again.
I arrived after hours of looking for a spot to park, and running low on gas...a minute after they closed. I understand,that the two staff were likely worn out too, and that they had the right not to answer my phone call, or open the door to answer a question ( I was right out front where they could see me. ) Unfortunately, there was also no note (like most campgrounds have)with instructions on what to do if there were spots available, and nothing to say there wasn't. So I left, still hungry, low on gas, and now worried about running into a moose , as it was now dark. Again, the staff were within their rights, but I would have opened the door.
Haven't stayed overnight but we stopped in here many times over the summer on our road trips. First was for the ice cream and thereafter for the ice cream and because the ladies are so super friendly! Hoping to take the girls on a few 'tenting' experiences thins summer (2021) and wondering if there are actually tent sites available here?

Prices are reasonable for a convenience store. Friendly staff. Decently stocked store as you can usually find what you need. Just one request: Please stock Coors Original (the yellow cans) ;-)
