Don't take the right fork off Chalk Creek Rd (GPS will tell you to). Take the left towards St. Elmo. The right fork is rough. Great little campground near St. Elmo (15 sites). We stayed at #15, the most popular spot. It has cool rock patterns and is across from the Iron City Cemetery. Sites are on both sides of the road, so expect some noise. One clean toilet near the host.

Nice, quiet campground. Lots of mosquitoes, so bring bug spray. Beautiful scenery. Small, unique graveyard on the east side.

Awesome, small campground near St. Elmo (15 sites). $20/night, clean sites and toilet, firewood for sale. We love the wooded sites and access to Chalk Creek.
