Well maintained area with terrific paths for both walking and biking! I went on a cool day and was worried that the rain and weather would make my exploring rather rough, but I was pleasantly surprised with how well the paths are maintained. The staff I did meet were very friendly and even gave me some good tips on where to go for kyacking and fishing. For anyone else looking for a good place to hike, I highly recommend a trip. You won't be disappointed!
The Lantern walk was wonderful. We enjoyed the time we spent on the trail. It seemed like we were transported to another time. Everyone was polite & friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with the hot chocolate & cookies at the edge of the walk. Taking a break for free. Thank you, we enjoyed your special event.
I love this place! Me and my husband got married here at River Bend in 2021. Through the years, we’ve mountain biked, hiked, and kayaked near all of it!
PURE MICHIGAN LOVE 🩵 I've been coming here for over 30 years. It's still amazing 👏 The park was extremely clean. Bathrooms are well maintained. Loved seeing them cleaning & raking the sand on the beach ⛱️ for visitors. The fishing 🎣 was really decent. Perch,large mouth, and bluegill were hitting plenty. Plenty of picnic tables & grills are available. Over the years, I absolutely 100% love the diversity of families visiting the park & everyone is incredibly nice and pleasant to each other. A beautiful place to spend the day! 🏖🌞🌈🏐🥊🎣🥏🛶🚲🩱🩳🎖
Park has all new roads inside of park . Nice groomed trails.
