Island Oaks RV Resort

Such a great place to camp. We’ve never stayed in the cabins, so I can’t speak for them. We’ve stayed right around the pond, which is a great location, but it’s more expensive. Recently we stayed on the western side, a row over from I10 and it was really loud with all the traffic. It didn’t bother me, but I figure I might mention it so others know. Their store is cute and has almost everything you could want, though they need more magnets for “island oaks” not just Florida. The pool is heated and they do have a hot tub but it’s 18+. Their food is great and my husband and brother in law enjoyed the bar. We will definitely continue to visit. Sign up with them and they’ll send you deals.

Employees were very helpful and nice. The property was very well kept and clean. The amenities were great. We really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. They have activities planned every day, a restaurant, general store, bar & tiki bar. We really enjoyed the live band Saturday night. We will be staying here again in the neat future.

The grounds are new & wonderful! Tiny houses were nicely furnished, nice beds, & bathrooms- Kitchen also! But only had 1 TV hooked to cable, in living room nothing for bedroom hook up. Was nice but was chilly there so didn't use the pools, but hopefully warmer next time we visit! Crafts were good for the little people to enjoy! Restaurant on site was very good!

We love Island Oaks! We went last weekend (Nov. 2024) for our first time taking out our travel trailer. The sites are huge and very easy to back into and the hook ups are in convenient locations on the site. The resort is very Family/Kid/Pet friendly. The amenities are great! There is always something going on for kids and at night they have music, karaoke or live bands. The pool and lagoon are beautiful! My only complaint about the pool is you can't sit in the pool and hold your drink, it has to be on a picnic table away from the edge. The cafe serves delicious food as well. Overall, Island Oaks is beautiful and we will be back very soon!!

If you are looking for a place to park yourself for a short time or a couple weeks, especially with friends or family, you can’t go wrong at Island Oaks. Whether you want to hang out at your own site or cabin or take advantage of amenities offered, you’ll have a great stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, but for the safety and enjoyment of all, they respectfully enforce their rules. Close to shopping needs or for browsing through the quaint town. Once you go, you’ll plan another stay.
