This is a total hidden gem. It’s unfortunately been closed this year from flooding but it isn’t the first time. The city will make it look new again in the years to come. Great bike trail, awesome river, train bridge, and nearby swimming pool.
Nice quiet clean campground. We rented one of the two cabins. The river has an oxbow stream that runs nearby. Great place for the kids to play and shallow enough for safety. Nice playgrounds and an outdoor pool available too.
This park is a little Eden. Lots of shade trees, playground equipment, outdoor pool nearby, new shelter house, showers, restrooms, river runs on outer edge, paved walking trails are great for wheelchairs and strollers. Quiet and peaceful.
Great park, great trails, low on bugs, not crowded. Nice scenery and quiet
Best urban type camping I ever experienced. It’s really right in town not down a gravel road for 20 minutes.
