Island Retreat RV Park

Nice RV park with very clean grounds and great staff. Limited amenities but has a very nice community room and scheduled activities. This was our first park on our full-time RV journey. We spent a month here and it was in a great location with close proximity to Gulf Shores beaches and State Park. Great walking and biking trail runs right by the property. Very affordable and simple park that was better than any other parks in then the near area for the price. Would definitely stay again if passing through Gulf Shores.

Nice park with spacious sites. Bike trails from the campground all the way to park with 28 miles of scenic trails. The beautiful beach is a very short drive. Many places to eat and shop. We stayed 2 weeks in May and came back for the month of October. Love it so much we have extended our stay through November. 0nly suggestion would be to avoid Bermuda Lane because a home on the other side of the property plays live music until quite time at 10pm. Staff is wonderful and all facilities are very clean.

This place is the best! The staff are very friendly, the visitors have all been polite and considerate. The long term residents are like family. Truly a home away from home. The new cooling system in the pool is wonderful and keeps the pool cool all summer. The location is convenient. We couldn't ask for more. Can't wait til April to do it all again!

The staff was the best!! The manager Vickie always had smile and gave all info you need including great recommendations on where to eat. Park is one of the best and cleanest I’ve been to in my 3 years of camping! Will definitely be coming back!!

Love staying here. It’s close to everything, yet off the beaten path. Love being on the bike path so you can ride to state park easily. Staff is friendly and accommodating and other rv’ers are warm and inviting. Will definitely return.
