Island View Camp and RV Park

I stayed here with my friend for the Bridge Walk over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful experience! Had an unfortunate issue with our tent while we were gone during the day. However, the owners of the site called me to let me know what had happened. When we finally were able to get back to our tent, we also found some supplies that the owners, Kathy and Pete, had left us to use and try to repair the tent. Unfortunately the tent was beyond repair and we had to scramble to find a new one. Regardless though, it was extremely kind, thoughtful, and generous of the owners to have done this! They also clearly take great pride in their business because they keep everything very clean and tidy. They're also both very polite people and are easy to talk to! If I come back to the area again, I will for sure be staying with them! I will also be recommending their business/site to anyone I know that is planning on staying in the area. 10/10 for sure!!

We stayed 3 nights at this campground in a tent last weekend and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a campsite in the St. Ignace area! The owners were exceptional! Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. This campground also had the CLEANEST bathrooms / showers that I have ever seen! They have onsite laundry for $2 a load (way cheaper than using the laundromat in town!), and free coffee all day for any guests which made the brisk early mornings more enjoyable. Beautiful lake views, and my son really enjoyed being able to watch the airplanes / helicopters take off and land at the neighboring airport during the day. This campground was also very convenient for anyone looking to explore the upper peninsula, or head over to Mackinac Island for the day. We will definitely be back to stay here the next time we are in the area!

We had a great time camping in our tent for the first time in the UP. Island view had great clean facilities and showers. Owners are also aviation people which have some awesome stories! Hope to see their glider up and flying soon! Will come back!

We stayed one night in our tent at this beautiful and lovely campsite. The two owners are very friendly! We arrived late but that wasn't a problem. The toilets and showers are very new and incredibly clean. If we are in this area again, we will definitely come back! Many thanks to you!

Perfect campground for a easy overnight stay. The owners run their business themselves and they are very very friendly. Nice little camp store. Restrooms are super clean and comfortable shower is super nice. We definitely recommend, we will return in the future.

We stayed 2 nights here. The owners are amazing friendly people. We we're greeted the minute we pulled in. The mister gave us a tour of the grounds immediately. The restrooms are impeccably clean and individual with showers in each restroom. We had a nice view of the lake they also have ferry shuttle available. My husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay and visiting with the owners.
