Terrible place. It's out of the way, a tough place to get to. And the ground squirrels like to harass you Avoid at all costs. ;)

This campground is located about 18 miles down a very rough Forest Service/oil field road. There are three larger sites which are nice. The other sites are very small and have little shade or privacy. When we visited, 2 of the three desirable sites were occupied. The location is very nice with beautiful mountains on each side and Jack creek nearby. This is in Grizzly bear country so take appropriate precautions. This area will also likely be used heavily by hunters in the fall.

Cool spot, we didnt camp here but we walked through to fish a couple times. Looked like most campsitrs had bear boxes and firepits. There is also a meat pole at the entrance if you're here to hunt.
