The staff are described as very friendly, enhancing the overall experience. A significant convenience is the on-site store, although some guests have noted that items can be expensive. However, the park has some limitations. One notable issue is the power availability, with some lakeside sites only offering 15 amp service, which may be insufficient for larger RVs requiring 50 amp service. Additionally, the bathroom facilities have been described as leaving much to be desired. Despite these drawbacks, the park's positive aspects, such as the beautiful lake, friendly staff, and on-site store, make it a recommended destination.
Here are some key features and considerations:
Jack's Pond Park is a great choice for campers seeking a scenic lakeside experience with convenient amenities. The friendly staff and on-site store add to the appeal. However, potential visitors should be aware of the limited power options and basic bathroom facilities. Beautiful views... super clean... great store onsite... Amazing lake... and the staff are very friendly. Can't give it 5 stars only because our 5rh wheel is 50 amp and our site which was lakeside, was only 15 amps. But having said that; it's well worth the visit...
The lake was awesome! So picturesque! Staff were great as well. So convenient having a store in the park. Albeit expensive. Just a few negatives. We lost power in our Pod on day two, and the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. I’d recommend a vist 👍🏼
Our friends have a lot at Jack's Pond and I went for a day visit with our two kids. Wonderful spot with lots of families and activities. It wad labor day weekend and they had a teddy bear picnic for the kids. Wonderful experience, highly recommend if looking for a camper lot.
Stayed the weekend, 2 nights 3 days. Great spot for a family get a way. We asked to be next to the bathroom/beach, as we were staying in tents, and they were only too happy to accommodate. The staff were extra friendly and the on site store has a little bit of everything at very reasonable prices. It is nice to see they offer this to their campers without overpricing everything ❤ The store is cash only tho so keep that in mind. As it's "Stay Home Year" due to Covid 19 the hayrides, boat rentals and themed weekends were canceled but we knew in advance and planned accordingly. Two adults and two female teenagers. They spent most of the time swimming and hanging out 😊 Looking forward to coming back when everything is up and operational
We were glad we stayed on a Sunday night. I think it would be a bit of a wild spot on the weekend. Showers were clean and hot. We paid a $20 deposit for the key, which was repaid when we gave back the key. Nice pond to swim, but with sharp stones. Near lots of hiking trails. Staff were sweet. A good pick Sunday to Thursday for a quiet couple like us, but super fun for families anytime I am sure.
