If you love access to water for fishing or boating and kayaking. If you love access to ATV trails or just chilling by the fire, you will enjoy this camping experience. My family and I want to thank James and Jennie for an awesome summer 😊
The tent sites were terrible, It felt like we were in the middle of a swamp. So wet our tent flooded... The bathrooms were excellent I will give them that.. Due to the rain and no drainage on our tent site we got flooded out and had to leave early.. Very disappointed since this was our grandson's first camping trip ever. We were able to get refunded for 1 night and the women in the office(was a little hard to find) seemed nice and friendly. Most of the sites at this Campground are for RV'S.(looked like some were full timers) Only have a few tent sites available.
This small campground offers a great camping experience. Site 11 is at the very end with great access to the boat launch. Most of the camp sites have clean long term rentals. The shower house is brand new. Showers are $2 for 5 minutes. We saw a moose, eagles, osprey, comorant, loon, and a family of geese. Fishing was great! Next time we'll bring our kayaks. The dump station is easily accessible on your way out. Campfire wood is available on site. There is also a laundromat. The camp hosts are very responsive by email. There is a water plane on site for tours. The cons...not a lot of shade, wifi was spotty (but it was raining and who needs wifi when you're at a beautiful site!) and there were lots of cigarette butts left at the campsite by previous campers. Other than that we loved this park and hope to go back soon!
I can’t say enough about how great my stay was here! I was just in the area for a night doing some fishing, the owners went out of their way to make sure I got the perfect site and they even brought firewood right to my site. If you are looking for a nice and quiet campground in Jackman, look no further. I will be back but bringing my wife and kids up next time!
Out of this world, no-one was around - just a sign on the door with instructions which site we could use and a moneybox to put the money in Total trust. Amazing view. No internet but you can get internet next door at the library.
