We really love it here! The river spots are great. The camp staff is helpful and mindful. The restrooms are really nice minus they are not cleaned very well the woman’s restroom had the same poop smear both weekends we’ve went. Along the side of it and in The middle where the seat parts in the big bathroom SUPER GROSS! There’s a ton of poison oak, though for the most part it’s kept at bay in the sites themselves. Lots of places to hang out hammocks and the sites are far enough apart to have some sense of privacy. The sites are clean and well maintained. Same price for an RV and a tent though seems odd. $30 a night. Have fun!

Jackson is a great little campground. There are usually spots available for the night here. Jackson always has a great on-site host. The last guy would walk his cat around on a leash to make sure everyone paid. He was an incredible host and always made me smile. Most sites are pretty spacious and all have river access with a quick walk. This is honestly my favorite close by river spot.

Such a beautiful area to camp at. The camping spots are right next to the river, they have trails that lead to little beaches with some sand even. The bathrooms are very clean and nice. No showers. The host is friendly and has the 2 most adorable cats😂 they wear vests with spikes on them. They make great security servicers ❤️

My 3rd time here and its still a great escape that's still close to home. Camp host was friendly and was ready to do anything to make our stay better. He told us not to rush on the morning of check out and told us we could stay a couple hrs longer if we wanted which was pretty cool. River access was beautiful too!

Small sweet campground. River is cold and very refreshing. No data signal. Jacksonville is a cute town for a visit.
