Customer Reviews
We spent five wonderful weeks at Jackson Lake Campground in our RV, and overall, our experience was fantastic. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere. While we did notice a few instances of litter near the trash bins and some occasional cleanliness issues with the restrooms, we understand that these are the result of inconsiderate guests, not the staff's efforts. I’ve come across some reviews mentioning concerns about the water quality, but we used a filter, and the water was perfect for our needs. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. They were friendly, helpful, and provided top-notch service. The only minor issue we encountered was the water supply being located underground, which caused it to flood when it rained. This made it a bit inconvenient to connect and disconnect the hose, as we had to deal with cold water, but it was manageable. We’ve also seen some reviews mentioning the cost increase, and while it’s understandable to be concerned about price changes, it’s important to recognize that the cost of living changes over time, and businesses must adjust accordingly to meet their financial goals. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!
Super expensive for what you get( all spots are close together) and the water is all most unusable (filters are black) when we got here there was trash everywhere. Place is under new management and he is a dishonest man(lied to us numerous times and has an excuse for almost everything) and only seems to be there 4 days a week... don't waste your money. Campground could be nice but at 60 a night and no power and had broken glass and trash everywhere they just didn't care.. I would only use as a pit stop to fish the bottom lake. I have photo a d video proof of it all...
The water is awful. I used an inline filter to keep most of the rust out of my RV's water system, but the water still had a light orange tint and tasted of metal. It took two runs through a Brita filter to remove the foul taste. You will foul a single-stage filter after just a couple of days. The RV part of the campground is made up primarily of people who live there full time and the sites were very close together. The young man who now manages the place is kind and helpful. And it was very quiet in the evening, likely because we went in the off season. We did not use the pool, pond, or bathhouse so I can't comment on those. We stayed because we had a MTB race nearby that weekend but we'll be looking for an alternate place to stay next time.
Hmm. There’s good and bad, the inflatables are very pleasant however the Inflatables were not cleaned. The area would be very enjoyable if it were kept up in terms of cleanliness. There is a LOT of goose poop on the “beach” and they really should be cleaning it on a daily basis. Service was excellent. Very family friendly there’s a family pool with a max depth of 4 feet deep. In the entrance room there’s a few arcade games, the bathrooms were fine in our experience.
We were celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday her favorite place to camp and swim. Everything is well kept. Check in is the main building now and it opens at 10 and closes at 7 which means so does the main restroom had to walk to the other side of the campgrounds to use the restroom. Wish the beach stayed open at least till dark. Check in isn't until 2 which only gives you 5 hours to swim the day you get there and checkout is at 11. Give you an hour to swim the day you leave. Random people just had a cookout next to our site and didn't even have a tag so I guess you can get a day pass a the pool and use the camp sites while your there. A little high in price 115 a night for 5 to 6 hours of swimming and it was non electric with no water. Park rules are its supposed to be quiet after 11 and most definitely is not. If your want peace and quiet do not stay here. Cars continuously driving and people screaming all night long.
