Customer Reviews
Sweet spot, great hosts, solid bathrooms. 2 gals and their dog enjoyed site 15 tent camping. Fireflies and a good greenwashing on the trial and by the lake were just what the doctor ordered. Thai place 10 mins away was great too, and plenty of stores and places to eat nearby if not prepared for camp cooking!
The Eden of campgrounds!! Hands-down the best campground we've stayed at during our road trip from Utah to Michigan and back. The host was SO friendly and helpful and even popped out of her trailer to wave goodbye and wish us well on our trip. Surrounded by a beautiful lawn and thick trees beyond the lawn, our camp spot had a clean concrete pad, full hookups, a fire pit and a clean picnic table. We even saw deer grazing in the lawn near the trees. The showers and restrooms were immaculate and the whole camp was quiet. We will definitely be staying here again!
Just got back from three days of a very relaxing camping trip at Jacomo. So close to everything in Kansas City, yet you'd never know it. It's quiet, it's family friendly, the hosts are helpful and friendly, and everyone was chill and cheerful. Lots of open common space for kids to play, and still plenty of privacy in the sites.
We stayed over Labor Day weekend (Friday-Monday). Great campground and absolutely wonderful hosts! The restrooms and showers were extremely well kept. We even had visitors who don't like to camp compliment how nice and peaceful it is here, and were also very impressed with the bathrooms. Quiet hours were well respected. Lots of families and kids playing on the playground every day.
So my husband and I are new to traveling in our TT so we haven't gotten the reservation ahead of time thing down. We pulled and spoke with Travis, who is the on-site attendant, and was so helpful. He located a site for us to stay 3 nights on a very busy weekend. He was very friendly, informative and gave us some insight on the local festival in close by Missouri Town. The campground was amazing so we did a few hikes, mtn bike rides and watched the sunrise over Lake Jacomo on our last morning. We saw lots of deer as well. Definitely a must stop if staying awhile or just overnight.
