First come first serve even in summer..... rare for a campground on the water! Kinda risky though because it is a ways out and you might risk not get a spot considering there are only 28 spots in this park. We arrived on a Thursday evening in mid August and snagged the last available site - #26. The sites themselves are nothing to get excited about, lack privacy, are pretty dusty, and most do not have direct water access. There are bathrooms and a nice boat launch. However the water is a short walk away. We grabbed a cooler and some towels and walked the beach left from the boat launch, past the last of the campsites, and found a long stretch we had nearly to ourselves. I would recommend it for people with boats and water toys!
Still beautiful, but there is no water! Where the kids used to jump off the rocks into the water is exposed lake bottom. In
Omg such a wonderful fires come first serve no reservations allowed. Every site has electrical and water. Tent or rv doesn't mattet
We planned a family camping and boating weekend and on a first come first served basis, we lucked out with this location. Its close to home, easy to access, scenic and family-oriented. Had a perfect 3 nights at Jasper Point, and would definitely recommend!
