Nice small roadside campground -- we would stay here again! Tent sites ONLY, a short walk in to most of the 7 sites (10 to 100 steps from the lot). Nearly full shade all day for all sites, a rarity in these parts. Close to Moab and even closer to Arches. Main drawback is highway noise, but that's true of most campgrounds in the area. Not too much traffic at night, at least after 10 or 11. No water. No river access. Vault toilet was clean. $20/night, no reservations. Most sites have plenty of room. Sites are not secluded from each other, so you'll be able to see almost all other tents from your site. There is a hiking trail next to the campground, but it goes up to an overlook (1000 feet elevation gain) so we didn't go very far.

Great campground for $20 a night. We were the only ones there when we stayed and were very satisfied with the location and how close it was to Arches National Park. There are also some more trails down the road from the campground. No water source there, but there are bathrooms that are well maintained, as well as a dumpster. Picnic tables and a fire pit provided at each site.

The grounds themselves are beautiful and the 3 star review is because it’s located right beside the road. If you don’t mind traffic (one loud engine ranging from big rigs to harley’s every 10minutes or so) from about 6am in the morning 25 yards from your tent then this is the spot for you!
