Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, WI Introduce

Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, WI, located at 8425 WI-38, Caledonia, WI 53108, USA, is a family-oriented campground and resort that offers a variety of lodging options and activities. As part of the "Campgrounds & RV Parks" category, it aims to provide a fun and engaging experience for campers of all ages.

Customer reviews highlight the positive aspects of the resort, particularly the glamping cabins, which offer amenities such as showers, toilets, refrigerators, ovens, and microwaves. The resort is praised for its diverse activities, including drone shows, silent discos at Bear Paw, and numerous Yogi Bear-themed activities. The HEY ride is also mentioned as a fun experience.

Some visitors recommend bringing adult-sized scooters to navigate the resort, as golf cart rentals can be costly. The convenience of having modern amenities while camping is a major draw for many guests.

However, the resort has received criticism regarding its pet-inclusive events, specifically the "pet night" during the Carnival of Lights. Visitors reported that while the event was advertised as pet-friendly, pets were not allowed inside the warm building for photos with Santa. Instead, pet owners had to take photos outside in freezing temperatures with no professional lighting or camera. This discrepancy between the advertised event and the actual experience led to significant disappointment and dissatisfaction.

Additionally, navigating to the resort during the Carnival of Lights event was challenging due to accidents and heavy snow, although these traffic issues were not the fault of the campground itself.

Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, WI, offers family fun with glamping and activities, but has mixed reviews on pet events. Located at 8425 WI-38.

We had a great time. We rented one of the glamping cabins and it was wonderful. We had perfect weather. The drone show and Silent Disco at Bear Paw were the highlights and we did every activity we could at Yogi too. I thought the HEY ride was super fun. We did not rent a golf cart due to the cost, but wanted to. I would just bring an adult sized scooter next time to get around. When I used my kids' scooters the distance from our cabin to the pool was much quicker. You can't get better than camping with a shower, toilet, fridge, oven, and microwave!

Went here for carnival of lights “pet night” on December 4th 2024. First of all it was negative 5 with wind chill and snowy. There were accidents on every intersection surrounding the place, no fault of their own but still frustrating to navigate. After an additional 30 minutes of driving around we finally get inside and pay $30 to see the lights. Lights were cool. Next we went to take pictures with Santa. No pets allowed inside the building, you had to go behind the building in the freezing cold with no professional camera. Whereas inside was obviously WARM had professional lighting and a professional camera. Absolutely RIDICULOUS to call something a pet event and not make it pet inclusive. SEVERELY disappointed and dissatisfied.

I was not expecting much being it was so close to home. It turned out to be a blast and so relaxing. Nothing there creates pressure. Staff was so very friendly and courteous. Kids playing and being so happy in the water and playground. There is so much to do. One staff member, Michael, was super courteous and talked with me for a few minutes which was nice of him to take time from his schedule to see how the trip was.

There are very low loud planes every few minutes at night that keep you awake or wake you up. There is also a train siren several times a day and night. It does not feel like camping, people are packed in tight. We did have a spacious campsite which we were grateful for and enjoyed that aspect. However, we had rowdy neighbors who did not respect quiet hours and security did not enforce it. For this reason, we won't be back next year. The kids had a blast with all the kids activities. The pool/water area was clean and fun! They loved walking up yogi bear and boo boo. Bathrooms could use more cleaning. They were disgusting at times with no toilet paper. Golf cart rental prices seemed a bit high, we did not get one and it was a lot of walking.

A HUGE facility with average sized full hook up sites, both pull through and back in, with both gravel and concrete pads. This family oriented park has enough to keep the kids active and entertained with things like 3 pools, including water slides, miniature golf, jump pad, playground, large video arcade, and much more. They have something like 300 sites and 75 cabins and rent electric carts to navigate the park. When the Milwaukee airport is landing north we’re under the arrival corridor so the planes fly over at low power settings and the noise level is about the same as the kids make while playing. I do periodically hear the trains in the distance but did not consider either of these to be noise issues.
