We recently stayed at Jellystone Guadalupe River during the winter, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for the whole family! Even in the cooler months, the park offers plenty of activities and cozy spaces that made our stay memorable. The kids loved participating in the scheduled winter activities, like crafts, scavenger hunts, and evening movie nights. The outdoor fire pits were perfect for roasting marshmallows, and we spent quality time as a family enjoying hot cocoa and stargazing by the river. While it was too chilly for swimming, the Guadalupe River was stunning in the winter with peaceful views – perfect for relaxing, taking scenic walks, and trying our hand at fishing. The river was calm, and we even managed to catch a few fish, which made for a fun and rewarding family moment. We stayed in our trailer on one of the spacious RV sites, which was clean, well-maintained, and had easy hookups. The park’s layout made it convenient to access all the amenities, and the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. If you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway in the winter, Jellystone Guadalupe River is a fantastic choice. It’s the perfect spot to unplug, make cozy memories, enjoy the beauty of the season, and spend quality time fishing by the river.

So much fun! Will definitely be back! The Boo boo bungalow was perfect for our family and dog. The water was out one of the nights and mornings but the staff was very courteous and friendly and called with updates. Trick or treating was a blast and our daughter had something to do every moment of the day. Wish the water park was also open on Sunday but was a very fun and relaxing vacation. Just what we needed! Thank you!

The stay started off a little rocky but everything got resolved very quickly. We received a broken golf cart that the battery was dead and our cabin the heat and ac didn't work the first night. Both were fixed within hours. The front staff was very nice and welcoming. Everyone was nice and helpful.

We have camped at the Halloween weekends for the last 3 years! Our daughter LOVES the “Yogi Bear Park” as she calls it. The addition of the Halloween Fun Pass this year was fantastic! She loves her Tye Dye shirt and ghost figurine she got to make and the spooky hot cocoa was a hit! Thanks Jellystone for always supplying a wonderful family camp out. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time at the resort. We spent the bulk of our time at the waterpark but the river was such a fun bonus to our stay. The cabin was relaxing at the end of a hot day. I will say it was a tad hot in the loft area so our kids just crashed on the futon each day. The golf cart was worth it for us with a newborn in tow but if your kids are older and you don't mind walking, they aren't totally necessary.
