Our Halloween experience Was amazing. there were so many activities for the kids to do. The staff was friendly and fun. We rented 2 golf carts and had an issue with one. The young gentleman who worked there was amazing helping us. The haunted trail was actually scary. I highly recommend this camp ground for Halloween. And kudos to the other campers for putting on Halloween Display .. Energy was amazing
Really nice campground in beautiful Lancaster County but the cabin we rented left some things to be desired. When we first arrived to our lazy bear cabin we noticed that our cabin was on the same pad and facing directly at another cabin and the outdoor space was basically shared. It was set up as a group and we weren't aware that was a thing when we booked. Upon entering the cabin it was hot and muggy because the ac was completely turned off when cleaned even though we were checking in as soon as it was ready for us. It took hours for the ac to catch up and cool the unit down to a comfortable level. Numerous blinds were broken and never replaced to where they didn't even close all the way. One of the sets was even taped together with medical tape instead of just being replaced. For $500 a night on the weekends we would've expected a little more attention to detail. The bathroom was soaking wet from being cleaned I guess but the water never wiped up. The fridge took probably about 24 hrs to get cold so we had to leave a large portion of our food in the cooler overnight for fear it would spoil. Otherwise the campground was well kept and the pool and water park area was a nice feature. Also the other amenities like play area, arcade, mini golf, and other common areas were fun and had a lot to offer. Overall we did like the campground but the cabin issues and group setting we were put in did make it a little less desirable. We would probably go back especially if we brought our own camper or rented one that was in an area that we liked after exploring the campground more.
Our family had a great time with the free and other on site activities. The cabins were a good size to share with my sister's family. Would of loved to see Yogi or boo boo at the character meet ups. Cindy was fun. The pool could of used a good shock treatment as the water was quite cloudy. Everything else was great and we will return.
Cabin was nice and clean upon arrival. We had a cutting board but not one single sharp knife. The front screen door did not shut so we had an overabundance of flies in the cabin. We had no trouble acquiring help if need be. The staff was wonderful. Just wish the cost wasn't so high. We could get an all inclusive vacation for less than our vacation at Quarryville. We did love it, tho!!
We have been coming to Yogi Bear in Quarryville for the last 13 years and have gradually seen this place go downhill. Not only are the prices outrageous the cabins are filthy. For over $350 a night these cabins should be much cleaner than they are. As soon as we arrived I had to call the Ranger Station because the twin mattress had old urine stains on it! When I pointed out the refrigerator being duct taped and the dishwasher having black mildew I was told, the cabins are old and they did not see those things when they cleaned so the last people who stayed must have duct taped the refrigerator! Clearly the cleaning staff doesn't thoroughly clean these cabins. It’s becoming a yearly disappointment and the constant excuses are getting old. Reply to owner: Yes you are correct about the mattress, however the mattress brought was too big for the bunk bed and hung off the bottom bunk. I however agreed to just deal with it because my son was older and I was not going to waste anymore time. However NO cleaning supplies were ever provided or other amenities so I am unsure where that information is coming from. From now on we will only book a tent site/ RV site the cabins are really disappointing for the price you are charging families.
