Customer Reviews
Overall, Jellystone Park has a lot of potential, and I’d definitely recommend it, especially for families with kids. After my vacation, I found myself telling all my friends with young children about this place, and I’d love to come back with friends in the future. The customer service was great—every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. I rated it four stars instead of five because there were times when I had questions but had to walk all the way to the front desk to get answers. We visited during Halloween weekend in October. While the kids enjoyed the activities, they felt a bit rushed. The activities were all packed into Saturday, leaving Friday and Sunday a little slow, and I think the experience would be better if the events were spread out over the weekend. I purchased the kids’ pass, which included lots of activities, but we missed a couple because we weren’t sure of the location. Having more signage or a posted schedule with times and locations would be really helpful. If you go there take a picture of the schedule and screenshot it for quick reference. The lack of clear locations also made it hard to navigate, adding to the feeling of being rushed. Now that I’ve been once, I think I’d be better prepared for a second visit, but for first-timers, it can feel a bit overwhelming. With some improvements in scheduling and communication, this could easily be a five-star experience!
Have stayed here several times over the last 2 years and it has been great. The food and drinks at the restaurant are delicious. They have lots of stay options and lots of activities for all ages. Call ahead to check on attractions because some are seasonal. Staff is friendly and helpful.
My family and I had the BEST time! We enjoyed ourselves so much a year ago during Halloween time, that we had to return. We decorated our cabin inside and out, dressed up and joined in on the two costume contests, the one at the campground and the other smaller one they had at the Waterfront Grille. We loved seeing campgoers in their costumes as well as seeing all of the creative decked out golf carts and camp sites. I am hoping to make this an annual tradition with my children, and am now thinking about returning for other holidays. I highly recommend to all who have young to teen kids. Super fun!
Worst RV Park EVER! Nobody at the entrance guard shack, then a guy pulls up in a golf cart and tells me to back up 100ft a narrow driveway to go to the upper entrance! Are you kidding me?!?!? I just drove 9 hours, and you want me to back up to a different entrance? I refused. A different guy finally came down to check us in, but check in still took more than 30 minutes. The sites were terrible! The trees were not trimmed back far enough for a big rig, there was dog fur and trash (candy wrappers, squeeze pouches) all over the floor, and the trees and rocks were full of big Black Widow Spiders! I was worried about my dogs getting bit, and people really bring their kids here? Then at 6:35 AM a supply truck with a loud diesel engine pulls up right next to us, and began to noisily unload supplies. The spot next to where golf carts are stored and supplies are unloaded should not be a campsite, period. But especially with the park being nearly empty in late September, we should not have been put in that site. Then as the grand finale, we had to back out of our “pull-through site”, because the site had a large electric box in it so we could not make the turn. We told them on the phone that we were coming with two large rigs, and they knowingly put us in that site! Oh, and we paid nearly $200 for two sites for one night. Never again…
Had a great stay at Jellystone during the Off Season. Cold outside but warm inside of the cabin which included central heat. Not many activities during the off season but we just brought our own. Great place to getaway for families and even couples.
