We had an absolutely amazing time at Jellystone Williamsport! The staff is always so fun and energetic. We had a blast doing candy bar bingo (twice!) and the Hey rides, and love all the activity options for the kids! We lived at the jumping pillow for hours and then took breaks to go to the playgrounds and mini golf. The new laser tag guns were also amazing! Our only disappointment this trip was that there was an open fire ban, but that wasn't up to Jellystone and due to the lack of precipitation. We can't wait to go back!
Stayed this past weekend and only chose the hefty price tag of this campground due to it being family friendly with lots of amenities but it felt like a rip off to have to pay to access certain amenities on top of such a high camping cost. I was most looking forward to the ninja course and was disappointed to see it was an amenity that had to be paid for and rented. We had a schedule of events given to us but it was hard to figure out where to go and felt disorganized. We had just missed the hay ride on Saturday as well and were disappointed to find out it was done for the weekend after only being run for an hour. A lot of the arts and craft activities had dollar signs next to them. We waited thirty minutes for quite possibly the worst pizza we have ever eaten, all of the cheese fell off of each soggy slice with what tasted like canned tomato sauce on it and it was a $20 pizza. The bathroom floors are constantly wet, and there are no changing tables. Again for a family friend campground, there is a major lack of toddler play equipment. The only playground that is smaller sized, doesn't have baby swings. You also have to book Yogi Bear which sucks for kids to see him visiting other kids and not them, as opposed to him just walking around the campground. Also we signed up for the haunted trail and we were number 71! They call numbers SO slowly, we ended up going to bed around 11 and giving up on being called as they were still in the fifties. The most enjoyable part of our stay however were the jumping pillow and the creativity of other campers decorating their sites. We highly enjoyed trick or treating and seeing so many costumes. We loved our site that was nestled in the trees as well.
We stayed mid week and after the season. Retired with our dog. So don’t take this wrong but no kids and no people around us. Price is what is was. Just a place to hang our hats until the next camp ground. But it was clean and well kept, dog park was nice and plenty of smells to keep our dog happy.
We were here as a stopping point in a much longer journey. Doing some homework, we selected a "Premium Pull-though" which was a long & level site with a gravel surface. Our booking was 5 nights—3 of which were $59 per night and 2 (Friday & Saturday) which were $178 per night. I don't know if that's the normal rate, but they do Halloween for at least 5 weekends in a row, and the park looked virtually at capacity. Our total fees needed to be paid 30 days in advance of arrival. Many of the main interior roads are narrow and could be tight for large rigs. Toward the weekend, navigating in & out of the park became difficult with throngs of golf cars & very small children on bikes wobbling around unaware and seemingly unsupervised. The staff was friendly & helpful. Given the ridiculous weekend rates and the potential congestion in the park—We'd stay again but for a shorter span and certainly not on a weekend. 4 stars, but if I could give 3.5 overall, I would.
