Covered with ticks on 01/03/2025 50-70 on one person and 30ish on another. We walked south on the dunns farm trail for about 30mins then went back to camp and found the pen tip sized ticks. No ticks last visit on 12-5-24.

Stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed this campground. Nice shady spots and quiet being this close to the city. Will definitely stay out here again soon. It was great as it made easy access to our kayaking spots.

Was a great area. The campground was clean of past campers refuse, the campsites were spread enough even if they hadn't shut down some of them due to CDC regulations. The park itself is gorgeous with many miles of hiking trails, creeks and what not.
