Super awesome campground in one of America’s greatest national parks! I stayed here for 4 nights a few years back with my family and had a fantastic time. The hiking here is stellar, location is super picturesque, and the wildlife is amazing. One of the days the rangers let us know that a grizzly bear and her cubs were coming through, and they walked right through our campsite! It was a super cool experience, if a bit nerve wracking. I would 100% stay here again if I could get a reservation.
One of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed in! Lots of space and privacy in between campsites. Only one bathroom and two showers for the whole campground. Host was incredibly helpful. Saw a mule deer in our site and countless chipmunks. Bear country and each campsite is equipped with a bear box. We did the 16 mile hike up and back to solitude lake and were quite thankful our campground was so close. Would highly recommend if doing any Jenny Lake hikes!
This is probably the best campground we have ever stayed in at a National Park. The privacy between campsites is great. Its tent only which is also a nice perk. They have clean bathrooms and have showers. This is the best campground! Joe and Jenny (the hosts) treated us like family! They were so helpful. We will definitely be back!
Jenny Lake Campground was a fun experience. I appreciated the privacy between each campsite, as there is ample space separating them. Each site has a parking spot for one car, and the land where you set up the tent is even, which was a nice bonus. They offer showers, which is convenient, although you do have to pay one dollar per minute. The downside is that there aren't many bathrooms; there is only one main bathroom. If your campsite is at the end of the campground, you will have to walk for five to seven minutes or take your car. However, there is no parking lot next to the bathrooms, which can be inconvenient. Other than that, it is a wonderful campground with stunning views of the Tetons. We even saw a coyote hanging out, which added to the fun. Overall, it was a great camping experience.
Beautiful campsite. Sites 44+ gets you mountain views. Most others are forested. Campsite hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very pricey for a solo traveler and you've got to pay for showers on top of that. If they're gonna charge that much and give you the bear lecture (black bears are very active in that area) they should at least put in a dishwashing facility.
