A nice, large campground on the lake. We stayed in the upper loop without lake views. The sites are spacious with good layout and shade. The sites could use a little upkeep as part of ours was overgrown with grass. Nice boat ramp with decent parking. For the size of the campground another septic dump site or two would reduce waits on busy weekend days.

This is a beautiful park! 10 out of 10 I would stay here again! Very quiet during the week. Lots of deer! Was not there for the weekend, but sites were filling up fast on Friday, I can see why now. Water and electric, no sewer but the dump station was close. Army Core of Engineer campground.

Large campsite with 2 big loops. The 1-80 sites are closer to the water and facing south for sunrise/sunset views. Pads are flat and mostly level with limited trees for straighter sightlines. This is a popular campground so full on most weekends but quieter during the week.

The park is very clean and the roads to the park are woody beautiful surroundings. The RV sites are roomy with covered awning which comes in handy due to no trees for shade. The thumbs 👎 are the trash dumpster they are all at the entrance, one accumulates daily trash, and no dumpster near the RV sites. The bathrooms are a good walking distance (depending on your site)if you are one to rely on them. Recommend They should spread out the dumpsters. if you come here bring a big trash bin and have a plan to drive to the entrance to throw away the trash. Our neighbor had bags full of trash thrown on the lawn.
