My husband and I spent 3 nights at parc Joan. The lake was beautiful and endless! Great fishing. They had boats to rent which was awesome. Very accommodating, the lot they put me on was not what I was looking for so they brought me on too in their new section where it was very nice we had a lot of privacy. Only down fall was our grass wasn’t cut but we managed. the owners were very helpful and friendly. Recommend if your looking for a small place by the water. I’d go back out f i could have the lot like I did with no one beside me . People had their dogs, which was great. More of a camping for quiet ppl .

We recently spent three nights at Camp Parc Joan. It was during the midmidweek, and there were hardly any of the seasonal campers at the park. We had the place to ourselves, and it was idyllic. The bathrooms are very clean and only one loony for five minutes of shower time. The owners Andre and Josée are lovely, and chose a very nice spot for us one row away from the lake. The lake is very accessible and clean and a lovely place to swim in with a roped off swimming area. It’s about a 4 km cycle to Le Petit Train du Nord, which is a wonderful, mostly paved cycling trail that is on an old rail bed. It’s over 200km long but we only cycled about 50km of it. There is a float plane that comes and goes from the next door property, but it was not disturbing to us at all. Overall we had a lovely stay at a very charming little campground, and we would highly recommend others to enjoy this lovely place near to Mont Laurier and le Petit Train du Nord.

The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating! My boyfriend and I stopped here on a road trip through Canada, and the owners were all very kind and helpful, despite that we could not speak French. We got a tent camping site right beside the lake, and it is gorgeous (especially if you like to see loons)!
