Completely enjoyed our stay in the new and improved B loop. Gorgeous views of Wheeler Lake on the Tennessee River. The sunsets have been spectacular. We stayed in site B41 in our 42 foot 5th wheel. The site was ample length to accommodate our RV, and wide enough to park our Jeep and Ram 3500 dually side by side. We enjoyed the convenience of full hook ups. We had great coverage on our Verizon phones, and a clear view for our Starlink internet. I would have preferred the road to be wider to facilitate the backing in process.

Fantastic campground. We stayed in C 10. Beautiful views on large, level gravel sites. Well-maintained and clean, with full hookups. Senior discount is nice too. We will return!

Very nice campground. Loops B & C have been recently renovated and are well appointed with new electrical, water and sewer utilities. Sites are mostly gravel and are level. Each site comes with a metal picnic table and a fire ring. Loop A is older and is probably next in terms of renovation plans. Laundry is located at the guard building and is a little out of the way, but not bad. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here June 2023 weekend in section C. Bathroom and showers clean. New bath house. 2022 I think. C camp area remodeling 2022 after tornado damage. Was told other sections, A and B starting August 2023. We had site C5. Level pullover site. Weird layout but useable. Will return. Staff great.

We camped in A13 on a perfect Nov weekend. We prefer wooded campsites so after reading other reviews of the tornado damage to B and C, we chose A to have more tree coverage and be closer to the playground and trail. The playground is very old but my kids still loved it and played it on it multiple times. My one complaint is the bathhouse. Traveling with preschoolers, we always try to camp within short walking distance of the bathhouse for showers and potty. The bathhouse was very clean, however there was zero hot water and no hand soap at all. Signs pointed out the no hot water but not knowing a head of time it was a huge deal for us to haul two small kids to the bathhouses elsewhere. We will definitely be back in the future and hopefully the bathhouse in A will be better!
