This was great place, clean and perfect for our needs. We were there with friends for a fishing trip. Boat launching was very close. Johnny's had a cleaning table for the fish. The owner Amy was so friendly and went out of her way to make sure that we were well taken care of. We will definitely go back there again. They did have a restrooms and a laundry site. No showers though, not a problem for us, as we had our RV.
Stayed in our 24ft Class C for 2 nights in June, and it was wonderful. Got one of the two spots right on the marina with an amazing view, and everything was well kept and I working order. Used the large laundry facilities, which were nice. The proprietors Johnny and Amy were both great - really care about the place and love their jobs, which shows! Will be back when we travel along the coast!
Johnny has excellent communication he waited up for me to pull in well past closing time at 11:00 pm. He is out helping every R.V. That pulls in to get them situated the park is very clean the prices are great, it is quiet.
Nothing fancy, but the property is immaculate and it's very quiet. Johnny greeted us when we arrived and escorted us to our site. One can tell immediately the pride he has with the park. We were in site #33 and that's the best site with a view of Humboldt Bay. The cafe, Gill's by the Bay, is an easy two block walk from the rv park. We had hot crab sandwiches for lunch, and liked them so much that we went back two days later and had crab omelets for breakfast. We love supporting small businesses.
Pleasantly surprised by this park. Process was easy. Park is clean. It's quiet near sundown. I have to give props to the laundry room, it's a bit antiquated, but it's a fair price for super hot dryers, and washers wash well without other people's laundry smells. Lids up, no mildew. Wouldn't be surprised that management kept up with maintenance which may be why they have lasted so long. Nice job Johnny! If I return, it'll be here.
