My family stayed at Johnny Yurts to watch the total eclipse and had an amazing time. The check-in process is super simple and everything inside the Yurts was clean and ready for us! Our family made a fire, played horseshoes and explored Johnson City during the day. It was great to unplug from a hectic Austin schedule and enjoy some beautiful fresh air. Highly recommend Johnny Yurts for your next weekend getaway.
We had our annual college reunion at Johnny’s Yurts! We wanted to do a day in hill country to experience some wineries. This is the perfect location; you are close to many wineries (William Chris was our favorite) and you get to experience a little bit of Texas outside of the Austin City limits. The Yurts are extremely clean and come with everything you would need for a glamping experience. We sat under the stars while having a bonfire. It was a great day/night.
