This is exactly what we expected when booking! Being from Wisconsin, this was an Up North style cottage and was perfect for us! The owners were very welcoming! It was a plus that that the cottage was pet frieindly! Out cat could not get enough of the screened in porch! If you are looking for perfection and a fancy place... keep looking! If you want the feeling of a true Up North cottage this is your place! It was clean, comfortable, and we would stay again if ever back in the area! Thanks for the great hospitality!
I stayed at this Motel with my friend and our 2 dogs. It is a simple but clean motel with amazing service. You really couldn't ask for a more dog friendly lodging. When we arrived the owners began but letting us know of all the local pet friendly places in the area. They also offered us extra towels for our dogs and a complimentary banana. As I mentioned before, it was very clean when we entered and the beds are comfortable. We had opted for the suite on the end with 2 rooms separated by the bathroom and kitchen. Reminder signs in the rooms even have dog pictures! For anyone looking for a great place to stay with their pet this is the place to go!
We often stay here with the our dog. Very pet friendly. Owners are great. Basic lodging but very clean and affordable. Wifi and Cable TV. Great place to base your White Mountain adventures. We have been to both the motel and cottages and both are great!
Was very pleased with this place. It is often hard to find a place that accepts a dog, let alone 3. But this couple were very accommodating, especially with our large group. There is access to some hiking trails, has a nice playground for the kids. Centrally located to give access to some of the more popular attractions without being right on top of them. We plan on returning here for sure.
The wonderful owners were very accomodating for our latish evening arrival, our nifty little cottage room was well maintained yet gave that trailer park feel.. Was super cool considering we normally go by travel camper. This short trip we decided to go without the house on wheels.. If we are ever up this way and they have vacancy we will surely stay again.
