This is the most comfortable rv park I've experienced after traveling across the eastern USA several times. The staff and facilities are 100% Green Book friendly! They are always cordial, yet they have the enforced usual rules that must be abided by every resident. The lots are full hookups and are very large, easily accommodating any size rv. Plenty of space between each lot. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Laundry facilities are modern and clean. There's a huge enclosed dog park. They have a club house where planned activities take place. The mail is placed in your box located within the office, while packages are delivered to your lot. Being a senior veteran, my health-care concerns are alleviated by the construction of a facility right next door. Nearby, there is a large park and aquatic center with a year round heated pool. Also closely located is the Disney Wilderness Area perfect for biking, hiking, and bird watching. There are several options close by for grocery shopping. I was especially delighted by the Christmas parade on the last Eve, followed by hot chocolate around the large fire pit. The park is in the process of expanding, adding more lots in the near future. The secure entrance gate with your own clicker or code makes me feel safer. I have experienced rv parks from New Hampshire to New Orleans, and this park easily tops them all, especially when it comes to feeling safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this park for your pleasant camping adventure.
This place is horrible , outdated and nothing to do ! The current tenants who have been living for years here warned us but unfortunately we had already paid the month plus 80 dollars extra to stay long term . They decided to evict us cause they are racist , they said our dogs were aggressive and without a leash ...but the Caucasian people are allowed to do whatever they want . Our dogs never attacked anyone or did anything. They called the police but still have yet to give us our money back ! There is a special place for ALL OF MANAGEMENT IN HELL especially Jessica who rather sit behind a email rather than come and confront people . If you are looking for vacation DO NOT STAY HERE videos and pictures will be distributed through out the park so other residents can be aware....THEY ARE RACIST AND EVICT YOU FOR NO REASON . NO LEASE NO NOTHING ALSO THE POLICE TAKE THEIR SIDE WHEN THERE ARE NO LAWS
This is our second winter here and we find this place awesome. Management helpful and super friendly. Making many improvements that just make this place even better. Highly recommend! Tim and Helen Prindle
First of all this place is undesirable for Snow Birds and I'll begin with a couple of reasons why... 1. Traffic... there's so much traffic, it literally takes HOURS to go 15 minutes down the road from out of this campground 2. Water The WATER here at this park smells and tastes like SEWEAGE and probably a health hazard 3. Price Gouging Your ELECTRIC BILL when you first move in will be manageable, then it'll go up considerably beyond affordability if you plan to stay several months, also the RENT WILL INCREASE at the first of the year! 4. There is a TRAUMA UNIT being built within feet of the park, so soon at all hours of the day or night, you'll have noise either from a helicopter or an ambulance or closing doors of cars! 5. Hateful Attitudes.. The MANAGEMENT has very hateful attitudes towards people in the park and are all in it for themselves! 6. Outdated Facilities The Rec Hall is OUTDATED and needs to be torn down 7. Unpaved Areas With Potholes Some areas of the park are unpaved and you'll end up busting a tire on your home or car! There's more, much much more to say about this place! SNOWBIRDS BEWARE Rebecca
Updated Review: old one at very bottom. Honest review. Over the past 1.5 years, I’ve seen many improvements in this community. Management is actively making changes, enforcing rules, and working hard to create a welcoming environment. While there are still some challenges, there are also many positives that make this a unique place to live. Excellent Management Team: The management team, especially Jessica and Jimmy, is professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making this a great place to live. They handle concerns face-to-face in a respectful and professional manner. • Helpful & Supportive Staff: They go above and beyond to help residents—offering tools for yard cleanup, picking up yard waste, trimming branches, and removing bushes upon request. Their dedication to keeping the park well-maintained is evident. Better Rule Enforcement & Upgrades: Management has become more involved, and ongoing updates are being made to improve the community. Mail Security: USPS mail is now safely sorted and stored in the office, while non-USPS packages (Amazon, FedEx, UPS) are delivered directly to your site. Locked mailboxes are expected soon. RV Spot Customization: The large lots allow for personalization. We were able to add landscaping and a garden with management’s approval, making our space feel like home. Community Engagement: They’ve introduced events like garage sales and karaoke nights, which bring people together and help foster a true sense of community. Which are adding more just trying now. Things to Keep in Mind: • Electricity Costs: While still on the higher side, with lots of taxes added. We installing a mini-split significantly reduced our bill (from $150–$260/month to $50–$110). A new $25 utilities fee was added due to damage to the system from some one sabotage system. • Traffic: The traffic in this area can be very frustrating all day long, especially with new developments and a hospital under construction next to park. However, this isn’t the park’s fault. Overall Atmosphere & Amenities: • Well-Maintained & Clean: The park grounds are tidy and well-kept, with management staying on top of maintenance. • Pet-Friendly Community: The park is extremely dog-friendly, and all the pets here have been well-behaved. If you love dogs, you’ll find plenty of furry friends (and free dog love) throughout the park! • Clean Facilities: The community bathrooms are well-maintained, and the washers/dryers, while a bit pricey, are convenient. • Outdoor Space & Wildlife: The park has a volleyball court (never seen anyone use it), two fishing lakes (though we haven’t had much luck fishing), and beautiful wildlife—sandhill cranes in the mornings, turtles and birds in the afternoons, and owls and armadillos in the evenings. Still no pool, patiently waiting. • Great Location: Just 20-30 miles from Disney to all theme parks, making it a great spot for those who want to be close to the parks. As someone who has lived here for nearly two years, I’ve seen firsthand how management is constantly working to improve the community. They care about the residents, take complaints seriously, and are making an effort to create a welcoming, inclusive environment. There is no racism here—everyone is treated with respect. If they continue on this path, this park will only get better with time. While there are still areas that could be improved, it’s clear that management is making an effort to address concerns and enhance the community.
