Incredible jewel found just a twenty minute drive from Park City. Mindfulness can be rediscovered here, where, should you choose just to stroll near the entrance, you'll find cool shade, brilliant waters and friendly campers. Vistas are lovely. Only wish we had brought watercraft, but the experience was amazing. Highly recommend. There are several other entrances which access long hiking trails built primarily for horseback. You will build marvelous memories having visited this incredible recreational area.
Beautiful place with the mountains all around. I wish the beaches were nicer, but really a stunning summer getaway. Definitely a spot to boat or float (lots of stand up paddle boards). The beach space is limited, steep, and overly rocky. The "sand" underfoot is a lot of seaweed and muck.
The park is nice. It has shades in the evening which makes our tents cool at night—perfect temperature. No issues with bugs, the equipments and everything was clean. The flushed toilet is nice and clean. The camping space is a bit tight for 2 tents—but that’s my problem for not checking the details properly. The only issue I had here was our neighbors who were drunk and making loud noises till 3AM—even with ear plugs on, I could still hear them. I wish the host/staff could pay more attention to this type of issue. I have read another reviews complaining about noise but thought I should be ok since I’m not super sensitive to noise and usually sleep quite late. Although, yelling at 3am isn’t something typical and much has to do with manners of the camper on that site, I hope things could be done as this is a public space. Will probably come back but will pray for a better neighbor campers next time.
A nice and quiet stay, just what we needed. Always clean grounds and clean bathrooms. Can't wait to come back.
4 stars for the great camping experiences in the past. 1 star for day use beach. I thought paying $50 for pavilion day use meant I was paying for some space on the beach but no, you pay $50 for the pavilion that's back from the water while a million rude and loud people, that don't pay a fee, set up their gazebos right next to you, in front of you, practically on top of you. My dad said it reminded him of the beaches in California. No thank you. It is beautiful there, we always enjoy the camp grounds, but I will never do a day on the beach side again.
