The trails that intersects Quimby is what I’ll be reviewing. You can do a lengthy loop here. It goes by a small lake, a viewpoint, and has tons of wildlife.
Camped here for a night and it was a nice park. There were lot of deer and coyotes around the park so be careful of them when driving and staying around. In the campground, the restrooms/showers had WiFi so for urgent situations it’s good to know there is that since there wasn’t much cell reception. But Starlink works. I drove in and got a spot that was not occupied and paid at park entrance.
The way to get to the park was so beautiful. Almost no one was in the park. The park is huge but there are not many things to do. I canceled my camping for the next month because it was too dry.
