Customer Reviews
Found this in a late night search for a campground on our cross country drive. Surprised by how cool this spot was. Quiet and only one other camper. Site 5 is best
Nice place if you like tons of motorcycles and OHV noise and the people that ride them.
A gravel road with many holes leads to the camping site. There are no level parking spaces, no wifi, just a restroom. All of this nothingness for 30$! People saying it's free simply did not pay the fee, since there is no office at the entrance, only a sign with very clear requirements and descriptions. It would have been a nice campground if it was free. The area is really nice though.
Small tight CG. Best suited to tenters and van/ truck campers. A couple side spots for a TT but narrow access road is post cabled on both sides and not enough form for two TTs or RVs to pass. Note that this area is now fee reservation only and has had sig improvements to the roads, sites, signage and toilets. However...NO water, NO trash dumpsters and NO RV dump. $20/$10 senior and an $8 reservation fee. 7 day camping limit. Cell signal is very good to excellent. Lots of marked trails and expect this area to be busy on weekends. Lots of I70 traffic noise depending on your site.
Nice and peaceful camping site. It is near the highway, but it is not loud. We came there late at night and we were the only ones. It was not hard to get there and it was free
