We LOVED this place. It was by far the best RV resort we stayed in during a week long road trip we took in June. The management/staff were super helpful and friendly. The grounds were clean and pretty. The playground was such a bonus since we have young kids. The propane grills and picnic pavilion were clean and super convenient as well. And of course the area was beautiful.
Very relaxing and beautiful experience... Campgrounds are very clean and service is exceptional. Willow was more than pleasant with great communication throughout our visit. The community had amazing energy and we will most definitely be returning!! Cant wait to go back ...:-)
When we arrived weren't impressed. In fact, we said out loud, I'm not sure I want to stay here for three nights (we stayed in our travel trailer); however, after just a few hours, we realized how great a place it is and how kind the long-time seasonal guests can be. It's true that the place is run-down and need of money to update, repaint and repair but the location is so great, the people are kind and the price is right! Give it a try and look beyond the superficial.
Great facility! Walking distance to the lake. We've been coming here for years and new owners have made it an even better place to stay. Great, helpful and friendly staff. Cabins and RV spots. Great fit for anyone!
A lovely, atypical RV park in the hills outside of Durango. Well kept grounds. Friendly staff. Q U I E T ! Sites are well spaced and in a grove of pine trees. Pristine mountain air. Deer wander in at night. Fun activities like dinner w a murder mystery, bingo, Texas Holdem card game. Much of the park are covered trailers or mobile homes with hot location refugees who come up for the summmer. Park is open May 1 to Sept 30. Only minor negatives are store hours 10-3 and distance from Durango. BUT, if you just want to chill, this is the place.
