What can I say other than that JuneBug was beyond all of our expectations for our wedding! My husband and I knew this place was special when we first saw it, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for our wedding weekend. We are from out of town and many of our family and friends had to travel to attend. Some stayed on property in the adorable and convenient vintage campers onsite, while other stayed very close by in hotels. Everyone loved the accommodations and the entire property. The landscape is perfect for those looking for a fully outdoor wedding in the perfect mountain setting. Planning a wedding from far away by myself was daunting, but Charlene was exceptionally helpful along the way and took care of everything we needed the day of. Everything went so smoothly without a hitch and I felt like my husband and I really got to enjoy the evening stress-free! My family and friends will never forget the weekend we got to spend at JuneBug making lasting memories that could not have been possible at any other venue we toured (this is coming from someone who toured 12 other local venues). If you want an unforgettable wedding and an easygoing experience, JuneBug is it!

You may be asking: how is it possible that every single review is 5 stars? Surely that’s wrong… Nope. That’s just how good Junebug is. So good that it’s tough to know where to start the rave review. Let’s start with the gorgeous, unique setting. Outdoorsy, mountain loving couples with some vintage or colorful quirkiness? This is the spot for you. The campers are so fun and adorable, and beautiful photo ops like the bridges, wildflower garden, and tree house add to the charm. We did our first look in the treehouse - highly recommend for gorgeous photos and some variety from the other shots. If you’re brave, climb in the creek for some hammock photos, too! We loved the peaceful trees and creek for the ceremony, and how the reception spot is immediately accessible for older family and friends. The teal Volkswagen camper delivering the bride was one of the best parts, too! JuneBug’s outdoor games were a great reception option for dance-floor-shy guests. And of course - the air stream bar! Such a fun spot to serve our signature drinks. But even better than the fantastic perks of the location was the professionalism and support we received from Tom and Charlene in the months leading up to the wedding - not to mention the weekend itself. Charlene answered all of our calls/emails (and trust me, we had a lot of random questions) with reassuring grace and problem solving. She coordinated our vendors, helped my mom + friends set up extra decor, and kept this type-A bride extremely relaxed the whole time. Even better than hiring a day-of coordinator is having a Charlene who knows the ins and outs of this venue better than anyone. Plus, Tom and Charlene are both just such fun to be around. We had many people tell us this was the best venue and wedding they’ve ever been to. We’d love to take credit for that, but really, it’s Junebug. We fully intend to join other wedding alumni who come back again and again.

Truly will never get over how grateful I am that we had our wedding a Junebug!!! Other than the stunning property, campers and absolute phenomenal energy of the venue... Charlene was the cherry on top. She was incredibly professional, kind, prompt and helpful. Throughout the almost two years of having Junebug booked as our wedding venue she regularly checked in and made sure to make the planning process feel less daunting. I truly had no stress going into our wedding weekend... I expected (like most weddings) to have one or two problems come up. But I was absolutely floored with how smooth and actually perfect our day went. Charlene & Tom really really know what they're doing and they cultivate such a calm and magical energy at their property. Every single guest we've talked to since our wedding has raved with how fun, unique and special the day was to them. What can we say about JuneBug that hasn’t already been said? Our piece of advice for couples looking at this venue is simple: Do it, book it! Our wedding day was so much fun, and a large part of that is due to the hard work of Charlene and Tom. Our number one requirement for a venue was that we wanted to stay on-site with our wedding party, and JuneBug was our immediate favorite. It was so fun to have everyone together and be able to hang out at the fire pit after the rehearsal dinner and the reception. The venue itself is beautiful, the campers are clean and accommodating, and it really can’t get better than staying just a short walk away from where you need to decorate the morning of. Additionally, they recommended all of our vendors (who we also loved), and they handled all of the day of coordination with them! We really can’t express how much Charlene and Tom did for us. They are truly some of the best in the business!

We had our wedding at Junebug on August 24th 2024. Aside from the absolutely perfect weather, Charlene worked to make this weekend simply magical for us. As Asheville locals, we still felt we were on vacation here. We did our first look in the adorable tree house and then had our ceremony by the creek. We danced HARD under the tent and laughed all night by the fire pit. My very tall husband slept like a baby in our camper and I + our wedding party really enjoyed sleeping in the campers too! I would love to return to Junebug for another night staycation one day. Although it feels remote, the property is super close to downtown and to the town of Weaverville as well. I would be happy to serve as a reference for anybody considering holding a wedding at Junebug!
