🗺️ Location and Accessibility

Junipers Reservoir RV Resort is located in the scenic region of Lake County, Oregon, offering a remote but accessible getaway near the town of Lakeview.

The specific location is approximately 10 miles west of Lakeview, situated off Oregon Highway 140 West. The resort is found at milepost 86.5, tucked inside the KV Bar Ranch, a vast working cattle and timber property.

One of the most defining aspects of the resort, as noted by many local travelers, is the final approach. While the main journey is on a highway, the last portion involves a one-mile gravel driveway off Hwy 140 leading directly to the resort. This initial drive into the property sets a remote tone and is part of the secluded charm, though drivers, especially those with large motorhomes or trailers, should be prepared to take it slow and steady. Previous visitors have noted the necessity of a careful drive, but universally agree that the peaceful setting and amenities found upon arrival are well worth the effort.

The nearest large community is Lakeview, a short drive away, which offers additional services and amenities if needed during your stay. The area is also a gateway to vast swaths of public lands, including the Fremont-Winema National Forest, for those looking to expand their exploration of the Oregon outback.

Great off-grid camping for Christmas valley! It's ONLY downfall is the miserable 7 mile drive into it down the terrible gravel road you have to do.... hard on campers and motorhomes... worth it if you're staying for a bit though.

Hate it. And I hate christmas valley dunes. Every time I go there I get screws in my tires.
