On a road trip through Oregon and stayed in this lovely campground. It's on a working ranch but still so quiet and full of activities....fishing, hiking, biking, bird watching, and more. There's wifi, flushing toilets and showers (very clean!), and laundry facilities. There's also a dog area, a pavilion with BBQ, and space to stretch out. I can't say enough about it (especially for the price!). If you're just traveling through or looking for a place to spend some time outdoors that's away from the crowd, your time will be well spent here. Check it out! Note: The photos show the views to the east and west with the laundry, showers, etc. in the background of one of them. I was here the second week of April so things are still a bit brown from winter but still beautiful.

I discovered Junipers 2 years ago during a bad time in my life. What a joy it was to rise in the morning to an incredible view that lifted my spirits. So when I had the opportunity to be in Lakeview once again, I introduced my brother to the resort and he, too, fell in love with it! I can tell anyone who comes to the area that this is the place to be. The facility is clean and well maintained, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the environment is both peaceful and beautiful. I can say with all confidence that I will not be staying anywhere else when I come to town. Thank you Junipers Resort for an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Peaceful, gorgeous Eastern Oregon scenery, lots of birds and wildlife, great walks to do. We stayed for a week, and enjoyed watching the Paiute ground squirrels, numerous tree, swallows, Willits, robins, red wing blackbird, and more. There are old jeep trails up the mountains to the north west, which are great for cycling or walking, several creeks, wetlands, stands of juniper and Ponderosa pine. The laundry room has a display of Native American artifacts, and a poster describing how to read cow brands. You are on a working ranch, so there are herds of cows off in the distance, making occasional noises and smells on their summer feeding grounds. The grounds are well cared for, the sites are spacious, most with some tree cover, although our site number 16 had small trees, which made starlink work better. No mosquitoes in spite of all the nearby water! We went up to Cottonwood lake and donated a pint of blood before fleeing back down.

If I could give higher than 5, I would. One of the most beautiful places since we started our camping journey 3 years ago. Our first time in oregon and it was july 4th week/end and everywhere we normally go was booked. Due to covid of course so everyone is traveling. Well we ended up here by happenstance and I'm glad we did. The grounds are beautiful. The location is at a private cattle ranch on 5000 acres. Yes, 5000....over 200 cattle are literally right next to the RV park portion of the land. There is a reservoir that you can either walk, bike, or drive to, but not sure if you want to swim in it. We didnt try, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. :) You would never know this place was here if it weren't for Google and word of mouth. The pictures I have are great. We will Definitely be back again. If you want to tent camp, they have gas grills available, bathrooms, and you can do laundry also. No charcoal grills and only gas firepits. Thanks to the wonderful owners and camp hosts for making this possible. One thing though, you'll hear the cows almost all night haha but its still great. Full hook ups in the middle of a cow pasture, in the middle of a Beautiful scenery. 🐄 🏕🏔🏞

If you're traveling in the Lakeview area, this is a great place to stay! I lived here for a couple months and the only downside was inconsistent WIFI, but that's the trade-off for the rural location. There are good flat trails to walk and go birding on the beautiful property. I've never seen more consistently spotless public restrooms. All of the fantastic hosts were extremely gracious in helping me.
