K M Resorts of America Inc Introduce

This information pertains to K M Resorts of America Inc, located at 3108 S Union Ave, Tacoma, WA 98409, USA. While the platform category is Campgrounds & RV Parks, K M Resorts appears to offer RV and campground memberships rather than direct lodging at a specific location. They can be contacted at (253) 682-5880 or +1 253-682-5880.

Environment: The reviews do not provide information about a physical campground or resort environment directly managed by K M Resorts at the listed Tacoma address. Instead, they focus on the sales and membership experience offered by the company.

Services: Based on customer reviews, the primary service offered by K M Resorts involves selling membership packages that purportedly provide access to a network of campgrounds. However, significant concerns have been raised about the sales tactics employed. One reviewer described a "very confusing sales pitch" and a bait-and-switch scenario where the initially implied benefits and costs did not align with what was presented in person. Another review echoed these concerns, detailing misleading initial information about membership costs and high-pressure sales tactics. The requirement to attend an in-person meeting to understand the "home campground" and network options has also been highlighted.

Features: The core feature being sold is a membership that grants access to various campgrounds. However, customers have expressed strong dissatisfaction with the perceived value of these memberships. One reviewer who received a "$2500 value membership" with an RV purchase described it as a potential scam, citing a confusing sales presentation and a lack of appealing options within a reasonable distance. Specifically, the "home campground" offered was in Elma, WA, which the reviewer found undesirable. Concerns were also raised about the cost of annual fees and the limited perceived benefits for individuals living in certain areas. Another concerning feature mentioned was a high-pressure sales environment, including a significant discrepancy between the initially quoted membership price and the actual cost presented during the in-person meeting. One reviewer also noted an uncomfortable interaction regarding mask-wearing during a sales appointment during the pandemic.

Promotional Information: Based on recent and direct customer feedback, potential customers are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate K M Resorts of America Inc before considering any membership purchase. Reviews indicate serious concerns regarding potentially misleading sales practices, a lack of transparency about membership costs and benefits, and questionable value propositions. The experiences described by multiple reviewers suggest a bait-and-switch approach and high-pressure sales tactics. It is recommended to seek detailed information, understand all terms and conditions, and carefully evaluate the actual value and usability of the campground network being offered before committing to a membership. The negative feedback regarding the perceived lack of value and potentially unethical sales practices should be a significant consideration for any prospective member.

This is not a company or product for serious people. We just finished listening to Peter’s sales pitch. See, I was born in the morning, but not yesterday morning. My experience mirrors the 1 star reviews being left here, to which KM resorts is replying to as if they have integrity. I bought the RV at poulsbo and got a “$2500 value membership” to KM resorts who are 5 miles away here in Fife. They’re all probably old high school buddies. I haven’t even spent one dime with them and I can smell the scam. I got the repeated calls too, from Kayleigh, and we had to show up in person too to get our “home campground”, which she said could be Ocean Breeze. We come in and we’re meeting Peter. Where is Kayleigh? “Oh she’s just one of the phone people.” It’s gonna be Peter all the way today. VERY confusing sales pitch. A video on a broken laptop missing the battery required a reboot. There is nothing between spending $0 and $5000. Not for RVs. Can we get Ocean Breeze? No. Elma. Nobody likes Elma. We all know Elma sucks. Nobody brags about their experiences in Elma. Furthermore that site is called Travel Inn and sits next to a highway. I don’t want to spend time sitting next to a road. As Dr. Evil says, “how about no…”. Now if I get a reply to this, that’s fine, but let me say this: are the owners unethical? It sure sounds like it. You lied to get me in the office and wasted my time and my wife’s time. Peter may be able to sucker other people in to this but he has to look in the mirror at night and so do “Kevin and Michael” of KM resorts. Bait and switch is what we have here out of the gate, and then I have to spend more money? It’s not happening. There is no value here. Only losses. That’s not how good businesses operate. Shame. I’m not paying $500/yr on an RV site in Elma without access to everything in 125 mile radius. You’re punishing me then for living in Oly. Anything outside that radius is tons of miles away in places we don’t want to go. Why would I do this? Oh and sign up other people and they’ll discount your yearly annual maintenance. That’s ponzi like behavior. What if I drop $10k and don’t pay my fees? I lose the membership I’m sure. Nope nope nope. And was it all “laid out in the paperwork and contracts”? In a way yes. But we had to do a lot of remembering and looking at maps to understand the value proposition was a ripoff. NO.

Bait and switch! Sami called me and I explained everything I was looking for. She said the membership was under $500 but that I had to come in so that I could choose the networks from the books. Got in for our appointment and Adrian was slimy pushy salesman right away. Turns out the price is over $6k! By the time we were ready to walk out the door he dropped it to $2,500. It’s sad to think of the retirees in there who pay the full amount when at the end it went down that much. And another thing-we got into Adrians office with the door shut and he said ‘you can take your mask off if you want, I don’t care”. During - pandemic when you’re 3ft from me and we are shut in an office-no thanks.

Total scam. They called to tell me that I had a certificate for $2,000.00, which is the cost of their REGISTRATION FEE. Also, the phone rep said that she really didn't want to explain anything to me until my husband could also be on the call because I "might not explain it correctly" and "you know how one person has a concept explained to them and then when they go to explain it to someone else, they get it completely wrong?" Absolutely condescending. I'm an educated adult who can make an appointment over the phone and then give my husband the standard details that any monkey could look up on the internet to discern. I don't recommend this company to anyone. Any place that treats you like you're a bovine moron and then asks you to spend $2,000.00 just to register is a place you need to run away from - as fast as you can.

My favorite resort/camp ground is Ocean Breeze, I will admit the people who work and run all the facilities so far are beyond nice and kind... however I would have not bought into the program had I seen all the other RV parks in person... I want to camp in the woods and have some privacy not sit next door to other RVs. Again, they are all very nice people, and have awesome customer service!
