Lovely, family owned campground. You can tell there is lots of love going into building this place up one step at a time. Can't wait to see it in two decades! Can't beat the location right on the trail. Very nice bathrooms. Camp sites in the trees. Halloween decorations to rival a haunted house! Loved the goats and bunnies. The owners were kind and went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable with local brewed coffee in the morning. Will be coming back in future years!
Stayed here for work, the staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. They have propane on site and actually deliver you packages to your campsite. The park is very quiet and has a lot of trails to walk. The playground looks really fun for the kids too. 15 min away from groceries and close to main road access. I really liked my stay. Only complaint for me because I travel for work I would have liked to see a monthly rate. Highly recommend this park and will stay again if I am in the area.
This campground is located right next to the Kal-Haven trail which is why we chose it. The campground is set up primarily for people who are gone during the day and come back to sleep at night. There is a playground area but no pool. There is a small convenience store on site which is nice. It has full hook ups for the big rigs which is great. The grounds are well maintained and the bathroom/shower building was clean. It's a 10 minute drive to South Haven and about 30 minutes to St Joe. Overall, this is a clean, quiet campground in a convenient location. Those with young children may want something with more on-site activities for the kids.
We had a really great time staying in the west side duplex. As a family of five with a baby, they were more than accommodating. The trail is right beside the camp. The outpost is well stocked and the hosts are wonderful. Thank you for having us!
Great location. Very friendly people. Great service. Well maintained and great atmosphere. Outstanding Halloween decorations. Very nice bathrooms and showers. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will return next year!
