Bathrooms were very clean. They have a small playground but gameroom and mini golf available. Our key cards were not activated and people coming in after hours had a difficult time getting into the property.

If I could I'd give this place a 0 star review, where do I even begin. My mother in law and father in law got a cabin and the cabin was full of cobwebs and looks as if it wasn't cleaned for months. The public bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and smelled like sewage.. the water was yellowish brown. The quite times was 10pm and we had drunk obnoxious people across from us that were loud all hours past the quite times that had no respect for any other campers. There were people who didn't even have dogs on their leash. The arcade games were almost all out of order or didn't work properly.the pool was dirty and wasn't that clean the edges of the pool was slimy, my husband ended up getting a huge rash on his stomach after getting out of the pool. It would also be nice to have a dog park or something for the dogs to do so they were all not barking at each other. I will not be returning to this camp ground.

First of all that review by Troy Alspaugh wasn’t written or put up by him. To the person who did it ( yes we know who you are ) first get your facts 100% correct & secondly your ip address is attached to it, so next time try using a fake name. Kalyumet Campground is aware that is a review from a different person, and they are working to take it down and once we figure out which option to take we will be contacting the “mouse” who wrote it.

We have been going to Kalyumet yearly for over 10 years. There is always a group of at least 5 campers and this year I don't know if it's new management or what but we were very disappointed in it. Totally different place from even last year. Pool was filthy, arcade and shop was closed all week/weekend. Staff was less than cordial actually they were rude! Water at site is worse than ever it is so orange from rust it stained camper bathroom. Internet/wifi was not working all weekend and in years past it did lag as campground filled up but this year grounds were less than full as in years past. Prices increased and I don't mind paying more but not willing to pay more for something that is less than standard.

This was a horrible camping experience, We get there, they put us in a spot where the electric and sewage are so far apart we would have had to get extra cord or pipe. Then I paid for 30 amp and it was just electric. So they changed our sight to where everything was on the wrong side for our camper. If my husband wasn’t a great driver and be able to get it in so it would have worked who knows what we would have ended up with. Then we found out from our great neighbors someone right before us refused that same spot because everything was on the wrong side also. The the manager tried to tell be I only had electric water and sewage. I showed her my confirmation then she didn’t say a word. They closed the pool and store at 8 on Friday during Memorial Day weekend. They offered nothing back for all the inconveniences. We definitely will never be back nor will we recommend. It is a shame old owners were fabulous.
