I enjoyed the fact that there is so much shade in the camp sites. We didn't even have to put up our screened canopy. I did not like the fact that getting to the water, there is only one path and it goes through the middle of a camp site. Getting our kayak down to the docks, straight up sucked. But that was mostly because the people camping along the path. The bathrooms are clean. They are kept stocked. There were 2 bathrooms in close walking distance. I definitely recommend this campground if you have a kid free weekend and just want to Lounge around

Solid little campground. Really a beautiful site, not too many spots so it’s not too crowded. Stayed early August, bugs were too a minimum and plenty shade around to stay cool. We used the walk-in tent spots and would come back again. Knocked it down to 4 stars for 2 reasons. The noise from the highway was a bit of bummer and the occasional truck or motorcycle might wake you up. There is also no potable water so make sure to pack in plenty. The pit toilets were well kept and the campground was regularly visited by National Park Service staff

Beautiful Campgrounds, well kept, but very popular with locals and tenters on the weekends, weekdays are quite and nice.
