Kamp Komfort

The host were excellent, very personable and friendly. This was our first year coming here and have been back multiple times. Kids love the pool. Small laundry area in a very nice shower house. Very family friendly and pet friendly. Girls loved the basketball court and playing volleyball with the balls provided by the campground. This is a must campground on future seasons. Thank you for helping us make great family memories.

We stayed here because we wanted to visit ISU campus. We called on the road and scheduled a reservation with ease. It was easy to find, well kept and very clean. Sites were fairly level, easy to get in and out of and grounds were meticulously kept. Common spaces - bathrooms, pool, sitting areas, dump stations and park were very clean and well decorated. It was quiet, everyone we encountered was pleasant. Staff was very nice. Came to take our garbage and we chatted at length on our love of dogs. We would highly recommend you staying here and would definitely come back if we're in the area again.

A gem of a campground with shade and level site. Bathrooms were top notch. Perfect for an overnight stop. Campground host called me back shortly after leaving a message to make a same day reservation. Very reasonable for one night.

Such a welcoming stop, friendly owners - flexible. They noticed we had a dog and on the way to original site offered “Would you rather have that site since you have a pooch?” Yes the interstate is near but we knew that and the price reflects a little of the loss of quiet - but we planned on windows closed so opted for the “no one out our rv door” which I appreciate. Stop here - support their efforts - a well kept place that shows the owners love for what they do.

Great park. Super clean bathhouse w/laundry. The hosts are so sweet & helpful. They really take pride in their property. My kids enjoyed the park & basketball hoop. Close to anything you need really within like 15-20 minutes.

Great RV park! Sites are not right on top of each other, shaded, and all electric and water connections worked well. The bathroom/shower facilities wee unbelievably clean. The shower large, water pressure was great and there was plenty of really hot water. Trash was picked up at our site every morning so no treks to a dumpster. There’s plenty of open, grass areas to walk to dogs and “poop cans” located in these areas. The pool wasn’t quite ready since we were there early in the season; however, it looked beautiful and will definitely be a plus once opened. Lastly, can’t say positive about the staff. Micci was a great host and was out and about the park every day working. We had a 5 day stay as we toured the Illinois portion of Old Route 66 so the location of the park was perfect. We’d highly recommend Kamp Komfort to anyone traveling through this area with an RV.

Very nicely kept and clean campground. Host/owner was very nice and showed us to site. Easy in/out of park. Garbage service. Wifi good. Easy off highway. Would stay again passing through.

Lovely park atmosphere: big trees, plenty of grass, and songbirds. Restrooms and showers are spectacular! Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Friendly and efficient staff. Some highway noise and occasional train whistles, but not anything to detract from the overall five-star experience. A short drive to Bloomington. This is definitely a park we would return to and recommend.

Stayed one night here. Great spot for passing through. This campground has the cleanest and nicest bathhouse. Everything is brand new / remodeled. Easy reservations by phone or text. Beautiful grass sites. Thank you and highly recommend. Something to note: this campground is directly next to 74 and There is highway noise. All 30amp sites are pull through sites. Would absolutely return!
