We camped here with a scout pack. It's definitely geared toward campers, but tents can work. It's freshly paved, which was nice. There are trails to walk. We only did the short one, but there's one that is 4 miles. The adults in charge of the campground we stayed at were very friendly and used to be part of scouts. Would definitely go again, even though you can't swim in the water.
We are having a great time. Only 15 sites have plenty if room and view of lake. Watching rhe paired eagles is my favorite activity. We haven't fished but we still have a couple of days to go. We come with friends for thanksgiving,, this is our 2nd year. Can't say enough good things about camp hosts. Phone reception good.
Wow this was a gem!! We found it last minute and could only stay 1 night. It was serene and wooded with beautiful views, dark at night and quiet. All you heard was nature. Perfect!! Fire pits, mostly leveled sites, electric and water only but dump station at exit to park. Easy road in but narrow so of course go slow. Boating, fishing and hiking available.
A clean functional campground. Great hiking trails. Sites are close together. Many people fish here. Camp hosts were great, and very responsive.
Very quiet and peaceful small campground. Picturesque surroundings and nicely spaced-out sites. Bathrooms are clean, albeit not well-ventilated, but still very clean. Would definitely come back.
We went for the first time Easter weekend. The camp host had put candy eggs as a welcome on all the picnic tables. I thought that was a nice gesture. The place was clean, the bathrooms had good water pressure, and it was very clean as well. It was very peaceful, and the lake was beautiful. We will definitely be back.
