Kate's Fish Camp RV Park has some amazing nature and the campsites are a breeze to park on. They have an awesome outdoor shower, plus the bathrooms are super clean and well-maintained. You'll have water and electric hookups, but keep in mind there's no sewer or dump station on site. The campground is also right next to the bike trail, which is super convenient. You can have a lot of fun biking around Gainesville, Florida. Overall, it was a super nice experience with reasonable prices. I'd definitely go back. The campground has a really cozy feel. One last thing, Monica, one of the owners, makes amazing soaps you should try! You can usually find samples in the office.

Owners were VERY friendly & helpful. Great walking trails. Feels isolated but is just off I75 S, just south of Macon, GA.

We stayed at Kates Fish Camp overnight while passing through Gainsville Florida heading back to our home in California. We were heading home after Hurricane Milton and there weren't any places to stay since the storm did a lot of damage to the area. We contacted Kates Fish Camp and they had room, so we made a reservation. Unfortunately once we got an hour from the camp our dual rear tires blew out on our RV. We managed to find a kind local mechanic to help us but weren't able to get to the camp until 1am!! The owners stayed up and greeted us to make sure we knew where to park our RV and where the site amenities were! We had a pleasant night and woke up the next morning to a cute campground! The campground has walking trails, a very clean restroom, an outdoor shower, picnic tables and hookups! Monica and her husband are extremely friendly, caring people who treated us so kindly. We felt very welcomed! We enjoyed conversing with them and learning about their property. Monica also makes wonderful soap and we made sure to buy some of her products! All of the soaps smell and feel fantastic! Would definitely stay here again! Also, bonus cute kittens on the property :)

These people were so nice and had no issue with accommodating our late arrival and even allowed us to stay later than the 2pm check- out time. Very grateful. The camp site is on the smaller side, but so central Florida beautiful. Alligators can be seen at night in the water next to the camp. We will stay here again. (42ft RV)

Nice small campground with electrical hookups, shaded and scenic. Easy access to trails nearby for running, biking or scenic walks.
