Keen Lake Camping Cottage Resort

This is the Best Friendliest fun living Camping Ever. We rented the Farmhouse on the lake and did paddle boating, hiking and arts and craft. We stayed in our Tents the least time we came and it still was everything on the grass. The staff are very accommodating. We loved it and Will Always go Back.

The staff was all amazing especially the front desk worker Alyssa. She is beyond the best at her job. That's how guest services should be. Very helpful and polite. We loved our site and views are amazing. Even the seasonal guest are very friendly. We loved our weekend there despite the rain still had fun and can't wait to visit again. The housekeeping team does an amazing job keeping the bath houses clean. All around excellent campground.

We were camping with our travel trailer. The staff was wonderful and very helpful and friendly. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the lake almost every day. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much. The camp store had everything we were looking for. We will be back again as this has become one of our favorite camp grounds.

I so badly wish I could give 4 or 5 stars. The positives: - Very clean bathrooms. On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the best, the cleanliness of the bathrooms is 4.5. -Friendly staff -Responsive security. (Sadly, I had to call security due to a group of sites not far from us blasting music and singing with a microphone from a karaoke machine they brought!) -Lots of activities for the kids. -Cute arcade -They provide hay under your tent if you need it -Beautiful lake -On-site Store with many essentials and yummy ice cream Negatives: ‐Many sites do not have privacy (i.e. no trees separating sites). We got EXTREMELY lucky that our site in the Pioneer Section had lots of trees and a beautiful view of the lake. -Some groups of people playing ridiculously loud music all day and night. This is the reason I can't give Keen Lake campgrounds a 4 or 5 stars, and also the reason I, sadly, may not come back. It's unfortunate the rude few ruin it for those of us that are there to enjoy nature. -Some locals that live there can be nasty and speed on the campground roads and harass you. After I checked in to the office, and on my way out of the main campground, a car behind began honking their horn. I couldn't figure out why. They continued honking. Then after I turned off to head towards the Pioneer section, they turned their car around to follow me! I stopped my car to record them and feared for the safety of myself and my son. The woman got out of her car and began walking towards my car screaming that I was driving too slow! (It's a very narrow road AND the speed limit is 10mph!) She proceeds to scream at me that she lives there. I guess she feels she can harass visitors. She was insane.

Had a great time at Keen Lake with family last week! It was our first time camping here and found it to be a great destination for our very large group. We were able to find sites that would accommodate everyone ranging from tents, pop-up campers, truck campers, RV spots and RV rentals! LOVED our lakefront site! The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring it with our kayaks. The pool area was clean and inviting as was the beach area. The bathrooms were very clean, and it appeared that they check them often throughout the day. The camp store had everything you needed, friendly staff and some of the best ice-cream around! We’ll be back!

We visited over a very rainy cold weekend but had the best time! the camp ground still had multiple events going on throughout the weekend and accommodated these events/activities despite the weather. The campground was clean, kid friendly and everyone was so nice!

Absolutely fantastic time! Primitive campsite lakefront was amazing! All the staff members were so friendly, helpful and they've got the best coffee to wake up to. Spent a week here and it wasn't long enough! Bathrooms and bath houses were spotless and the old fashioned outhouse was too...no stink! Our 5 grandchildren spent a few days with us and didn't want to leave either! Just the perfect place to make memories! We will be back next summer! Thank you Keen Sisters for having us!

We got to enjoy the second half of our stay in Pennsylvania at Keen Lake. We only stayed for two nights which was not long enough! We did not know about all the cool activities they do for children and will definitely be coming again and bringing our little one. They have a nice little store right on the grounds that has quite literally everything you could need for camping and more! Everyone was super friendly and the place was beautiful.
